The Hard Light Bridge is a testing element used in the Aperture Science Enrichment Center several centuries after Portal, and slated to appear in Portal 2.

The Hard Light Bridge is a translucent but solid walkway that can be redirected through portals to reach certain areas, and used in addition to Aerial Faith Plates. According to GLaDOS, they are made from natural sunlight pumped from the surface.
